Salvation Army

For over 100 years, The Salvation Army has provided services and hope to Maricopa County residents. Our history dates back to 1865 and has evolved into a social service provider of unmatched scope and breadth. We have been a leader in fighting both the causes and effects of poverty and homelessness, and we have the heritage, experience, geographic reach, organizational infrastructure, and personnel to address and meet the human service needs in this community. Our programs offer a hand-up to residents through outreach and emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness, meal programs for seniors, crisis-based utility, rental, and food assistance, and quality after-school and recreation programs for underprivileged children.
