Missions of Hope International (MOHI) is a leader in holistic ministry, dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families in disadvantaged communities across Kenya. Since its founding in 2000, MOHI has grown to serve over 30,000 children, building 36 schools and offering integrated programs that promote education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. This year, MOHI seeks funding to establish 23 additional science laboratories in its Junior Secondary Schools. These labs will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in line with Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum, fostering critical thinking and a deeper understanding of scientific principles.

The labs will directly impact over 12,000 students, many of whom come from the most underserved regions of Kenya. By investing in science education, MOHI equips students with the skills and knowledge to pursue higher education in STEM fields, shaping their futures and uplifting entire communities. With Canyon Institute’s support, MOHI will continue to empower these students, bringing hope and lasting change to Kenya’s most vulnerable populations.
