The IMB serves to address the world’s greatest problem – lostness. We do this through sending missionaries to be steadfastly present among those who have never heard the gospel – people in cities, people in hard-to-reach places, and people who are dispersed and displaced around the world.

We serve in the arenas of evangelism, discipleship, church planting, Bible translation, training national leadership, orality projects, humanitarian aid as a bridge to the gospel, and equipping and sending nationals to engage cross-culturally.
