Young Life Capernaum in the Phoenix Valley provides a place of belonging, joy, and faith for teenagers and young adults with disabilities. Through weekly clubs, small groups, and camp experiences, Capernaum leaders build lasting friendships and share the hope of the Gospel.
This grant will support a new Faith-Based Art Program designed specifically for Capernaum teens. Art creates space for students of all abilities to express themselves, connect with others, and engage with Scripture in ways that are both accessible and meaningful. Through painting, music, drama, and other creative projects, participants will experience biblical truths in forms that speak to their hearts and minds. Each gathering will weave together art, prayer, and storytelling, helping teens not only explore their creativity but also encounter the presence of God. This unique program will affirm their identity in Christ, nurture spiritual growth, and provide opportunities to share their gifts with family and community. The Faith-Based Art Program will empower Capernaum teens to discover their God-given creativity and deepen their faith. Together, we can open new doors for young people with disabilities across the Phoenix Valley to encounter God’s love and shine His light through the beauty of art.
