Missions of Hope International (MOHI) is a leader in holistic ministry, transforming the lives of children and families in disadvantaged communities across Kenya, Liberia, and Ethiopia. Since its founding in 2000, MOHI has grown to serve more than 45,000 children through 37 schools, established 37 churches, and provided integrated programs in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. Together, these efforts have impacted tens of thousands of families and are helping to break the cycle of poverty across Africa.

This year, MOHI seeks funding to equip five of its Junior Secondary Schools with fully functioning science laboratories. Together, these schools serve over 4,200 students, many of whom come from deeply marginalized backgrounds. As Kenya transitions to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), science labs are now required for Junior and Senior Secondary students to meet national standards. By building these labs, MOHI will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities that strengthen academic performance, foster critical thinking, and open doors to higher education and future employment. With the support of Canyon Institute, MOHI will prepare the next generation of African leaders with the tools they need to thrive.
