Canyon Institute supports Christian evangelism and missions as well as those who have answered the call of the Great Commission. We believe that demonstrating Gods love through deeds and service is a natural outcome of Godly compassion. Equally important is a sincere, clearly articulated verbal explanation of the Gospel to those who don’t know Christ as their personal Savior.
Jesus demonstrates for us through the example of the woman at the well that our greatest need is our spiritual need. The woman asked Christ for water but He first gave her salvation. Through our grants to Christian organizations who provide such things as clean water, a hot meal, addiction counseling, and a Christian education we have confidence that the Gospel is spoken to those individuals who benefit from these services.
The ultimate purpose of all that we do as believers in Christ is to lead people in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At Canyon Institute it is our desire to positively touch as many lives as possible through the sharing of God’s love through deeds and words. Our generous grants support those who boldly and effectively declare the Gospel of Christ to a lost world.
